Performing across Anglia and the South East region since 1977, DJ 'Dukesy' has personally provided music entertainment for literally thousands of audiences of all ages since the age of 8yrs!

Experienced and versatile in both the club and mobile DJ environments, at the age of 28, DJ 'Dukesy' turned professional in 1997 and formed the Discodirect disco entertainment service with assistance from The Prince's Trust.

Having  many years experience in wedding disco entertainment, building reputation from referrals and recommendations, 'Dukesy' has personally provided Wedding disco entertainment at over 500 Receptions, and as a

dedicated full-time DJ entertainer, has performed throughout the UK,

The company is now known as 'Pimlico Entertainment' and is based in the beautiful Peak District of Derbyshire, having relocated from Essex in 2006.

A select number of professional Mobile Disco Services have been invited to  list their service on the website.

All Mobile DJ services are owner operated and indemnified for DJ Public Liability Insurance up to £10,000,000.

The Mobile DJ Services are registered with the DJ Associates Disc Jockey Association and contribute to the DJsUnited Online Community forum.

Absolutely essential that your Wedding DJ has a background in Wedding Disco entertainment. 

Every wedding disco is different in requirements, therefore a wedding disco  with broad experience will keep everything running smoothly whilst liaising with venue staff, photographers, Toastmasters and of course your guests.

Do not hesitate to enquire how long your Wedding Disco Service has been practicing professionally.

Get the details in writing!

One of the most important things in booking a wedding disco is to get the details of the booking in writing.

Never hand over a booking fee / deposit until you have read the Terms and Conditions of hire and can see that all details are correct.

Do check that the disco service has a contact address on their paperwork and that the person who is providing the entertainment is made clear at the time of booking.
