2.
Your Wedding Disco should be experienced!
Absolutely essential that your Wedding DJ
has a background in Wedding Disco entertainment.
Every wedding disco is different in
requirements, therefore a weddingdisco with broad experience will
keep everything running smoothly whilst liaising with venue staff,
photographers, Toastmasters and of course your guests.
Note: Discodirect has been practicing
professionally since 1997.
3.
Public Liability
Venues can insist that a Wedding Disco
Entertainment service holds Public Liability Insurance (PLI).
The venue can set the level of insurance
the wedding DJ must have before they set-up disco equipment.
Note: Discodirect Wedding Disco
Entertainment holds £10m PLI cover.
4.
Portable Appliance Test
Venues can insist that a wedding disco
service has Portable Appliance Tested equipment (PAT).
Note: Discodirect regularly maintains and
portable appliance tests disco equipment.
5.
Get it in writing!
One of the most important things in
booking a wedding disco is to get the details of the booking in writing.
Never hand over a booking fee / deposit
until you have read the Terms and Conditions of hire and can see that
your details are correct.
Do check that the service has a contact
address on their paperwork and that the person who is providing the
entertainment is made clear at the time of booking.
6.
Other important things of note!
What music does the DJ have,?
Is the disco equipment guest suitable?
What attire will the wedding DJ be
wearing on the night?
Does the wedding DJ have a portfolio?
Are their any wedding testimonials?
